Alison Fast is a writer, artist and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles, who has traveled widely in more than thirty countries.

The subject of her work is most often figures, flowers, animals and elementary line drawings inspired by nature, using N15 black markers and occasional watercolor, to announce the bold, irrepressible life source that is shared by all beings everywhere. Her art expresses the root soul impulse to give form to ordinary encounters that turn mythical when beheld through the heart.

Alison graduated with a degree in Journalism from Boston University. She is also a published children’s book author.
